The human body is equipped with several light sources. Found footage film material moves in front of, around and next to the light sources. Body becomes projector. Light becomes body. Light becomes moving image. Film becomes body. Body becomes film. Projection surface is space. Body surfaces expand space. Moving image and projector come alive and can be experienced directly as physical material.

projector 1.0 was one of many works at the screening intervention plenty screens plenty frames by students of experimental film lab (art university Linz) in cooperation with the CROSSING EUROPE Film Festival, in the basement of the MAERZ Gallery.

„Caution: Don’t fall. In order to move images, students from the experimental film laboratory will go to the underground floor of the MAERZ Gallery, where they will superimpose projections and perspectives. The resulting screening spectacle questions viewing habits by provoking an ephemeral film experience through the contact between projectionists, audience and apparatus.“
